Essay Contest for Children of African Descent 2007

The 2006 Essay Contest for Our Children was well-appreciated by participating children who enjoyed both writing their essays and reading them at the Award Ceremonies.

While the schools appreciated the occasion to allow the children an opportunity to express themselves and gain valuable writing practice, the families and peers present enjoyed hearing what the children had written on the various topics.

I am, therefore, delighted to offer the Essay Contest for Children of African Descent in 2007.

As an African or Caribbean, show your support for children of African descent by offering a financail contribution to their prizes.    I am not looking for "funding" from agencies; but a financial contribution from African parents and singles who wish to show their support for and encouragement of African children.

This year will see the participation of children of African descent from across the African diaspora including the U.K., Africa, the U.S.A. and the Caribbean.

Please contact me to offer your support.
